ANALISIS DAMPAK HIPOTETIK PEMBANGUNAN PLTU FTP 2 (2X50 MW) DI KABUPATEN LOMBOK TIMUR

Increased capacity to Lombok FTP 2 Steam Power Plant (2 x 50 MW) as coal-fueled plants with construction development provide environmental impact in the Padak Goar village, Sambelia district, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Positive and negative impacts inflicted is determined based on the important characteristic and magnitude of the impact.
This research was conducted base on important characteristic and magnitude of the impacton the 8 (eight) components namely 1) work opportunities, 2) opening of work opportunities, 3) emergence of public unrest, 4) increased of population income, 5) the opening of business opportunities, 6) increase in sea-water quality changes, 7) disturbance biota of seawater, 8) increase in noise. Analysis of the impact magnitude is both evaluative descriptive, qualitative and quantitative.
The results showed amount of hypothetical important impact (DPH) that happens in the same space and time, i.e. DPH-3, DPH-4, DPH-5 (construction stages) and DPH-01,DPH-02,DPH-06 dan DPH-11 (operating stages) whilethe activity component that become most arise the impact was 9 (nine) environmental components (operation stage) and 8 (eight) at the construction stage. Based on the amount balance of positive and negative impacts upon the hypothetical important impact (DPH) which should be managed and monitored, more negative impact, as 12 (twelve) DPH and a positive impact as much as 5 (five) DPH.
